Corporate mailer - Get involved

[We should personalise each]

It’s time to #ShareyourRare with Rare Diseases South Africa.

What a year! We’re sure not many corporates have experienced hardships like they have this year. The world has been bombarded with grim news and less-than-ideal economic stability, but that doesn’t mean we’re giving up just yet!

Rare Diseases South Africa wants your help to flip the script. It’s time to reinvigorate positive reinforcement and human capability. There has never been a more perfect time to #ShareyourRare, and bring real rare human voices to the mainstream. These aren’t just any humans, they’re rare humans. It’s about time we celebrate them.

[Insert personal anecdote about a rare person here]

Ex. Growing up alongside a sister with incurable epilepsy, it quickly became clear that this is something she’s going to have to deal with for a long time. Being so close to a rare person makes you realise that they go through a variety of emotions, mostly sadness and hatred. It’s about time we show people that being rare isn’t, in fact, weird. Being rare is like being an invaluable diamond or an irreplaceable vintage car.

Rare Diseases South Africa is a team that fights to have rare diseases and congenital disorders recognised and treated. We actively help rare people and their families by mobilising the South African rare disease and genetics community. In addition to vital research, we’re committed to strengthening the voices of those who need it most. That’s exactly what the #ShareyourRare campaign aims to do.

Starting in January 2021, help us tell our rare stories, invite friends and family to join and empower people living with rare diseases. All of this, leading up to Rare Diseases week in February 2021.

As a trusted partner, you will receive significant social media exposure through the ShareyourRare campaign, which will make use of the power of social channels in a pandemic-stricken world. Help us make the voices of every Rare Warrior something to listen to.
